CS - Cs1.6 - cz - cs:s - hamachi - all these had been the manthra these days.
I liked the new version of counter strike Coutner Strike: Source for its great graphics. But the gameplay has been a bit dull with hte bots. The bots appear to be rather weak and less competent when compared with the bots of the previous version. But to play it over lan is a different story, its a kind of no where to hide situation when the crate over which you take cover get broken into shreads by enemy fire and you get exposed.
The rolling of the oil barrels and hte bomb explosion has been fantastic. After all CS is made for LAN. And online too, yes if u have a very hifi new connection. if you have a 128kbps connection as wat i have better use your good old Coutner strike 1.6 or Condition zero, because the online performance of the Source is pretty pathetic when you have more than 2 players over a 128kbps connection.
The Firing accuracy has been updated and hence the guns are pretty sharp too. So More headsot and les time for every round. that makes hte game more tough. Real tough.
So I am still there and ill be ther for a long time.

F.E.A.R. fully Loaded
Wow !
That was the first impression.
Although it took a fair amount of time to load on my Athlon 2100, with 512 DDR and 128MB Radeon 9200 SE machine, The output was really worth the wait.
It could load only to medium level, but boy its really amazing , the quality of texture is wonderful.
Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
That was the second expression.
The little thing really wrecks ur nerve, yeh.. u call it a GIRL !.. its a monster !
well, I havnt been frightened by any monster in My PC like this. May be some creatures in Halflife had similar effect. but this is realy different.. a situation in which a soldier is made to fear by a little girl !
The most unforgettable experience was the occasion when I was on the Ladder, and there she stood in front of me. I skidded along to reach fast below so that I could arm with the best one I had, I looked up to see her vanish ... and the next frame I saw it just besides me.. that was a terrible effect. It was so effective tha it took my brother away from the system. Poor guy had stopped playing when he heard a window pane crashing. :)
The AI is great. HTe enemy soldiers look more real when they smashed the objects on the way.. hiding behind the tables. But one thing was missing - they came from hte same place, no matter how many tiem u replay. So the replayability of hte game is very poor. That was the only thing make me feel that SWAT is a lot more COST EFFECTIVE. U get bored even with EAs 15 Season FIFA 2005 !
And, as always, these HI-Fi games come as bulkier on Disk as it is on Processor. The Demo took lesser time to complete than to Install. They could have included much more in the mission with all hte files alerady loaded.. Imagine u dont have a DVD drive and have to install the game from around 6 CD's.
May be i can conclude here . the game can be given 4.5 stars outta 5.
I'll take the 0.5 for the replayability.

"Checkmate FIFA"
"Checkmate FIFA" Matt Gander made me feel as if he was damn right...
I am GOING FOR PES4 this time. I havn't even finished playing the PES3 demo. Its so HARD to set up a goal.. i had scored almost a dozen in EA FIFA series 2002 2003 etc.. PES is different . HAIL KONAMI .
It was late when i got into fifa 2004. i had a copy of PES3 with me .. it was demo..i felt its more than enough. i never played FIFA 2004 later. When i tried.. i felt the ball was still sticking to the feet of player. It wasn't so when Played it first time
Its hard to score in PES .. tiring for ur fingers if ur on a keyboard. It took lot of time. I had to change my formation after everymatch to test which wud click and finally it had to happen .. I scored ..it really makes u feel u have scored in a World cup Final.
can wait for my copy
